About Us

Incorporated in spring 2022 One Tribe Carbon is Indigenous majority owned and managed by Tatanka Oyate Holdings, a wholly owned company of Wahpeton Dakota Nation.

We thoroughly believe that Economic Reconciliation with Indigenous communities and businesses is an opportunity to merge the dual focus of addressing climate change and meaningful leadership and involvement by Indigenous Peoples.

We have an experienced team of Indigenous professionals in climate tech and renewable energy projects, net zero buildings, climate change related projects as well as land management and forest management; branching out from nature based and forest carbon sequestration projects to renewable energy, strategic advisory services, carbon project origination, and carbon transactions.

At One Tribe Carbon we are addressing ESG needs and ensuring Indigenous Reconciliation is treated distinctly. We ensure Indigenous values and beliefs of respecting Mother Earth are at the forefront of all business especially in the carbon sector.

Ensure that the majority of the revenues generated through this business are sent to the communities, entrepreneurs, or landowners and a portion of One Tribe’s revenues will be also used to co-originate projects.
